Nina Ricci Defies Gravity
Ya’ll remember Posh and how she blithely strolled down the stairs at her Fragrance fire final annual in Antonio Berardi heel-less hoofers? You’ll memorize, at the period that we here at shoeblog held a mini-mock trial to decide whether she was utterly bonkers alternatively just an prodigious mainstream maven. At the time, the pro-Poshers showed very strongly. There is someone about her that is deer-in-the-headlights magnetic. She is the cause all the haute couturiers are still in affair (I jest, but only slightly). Turns out that she is probably both crazy and amazing but at the same time a veritable Fashion Trend Oracle. Take a gander at what Nina Ricci just showed for Fall 2009.

Those see like weapons.
I am questing as appended photos, for these have a bit of a trompe l’oeil efficacy for of the textured backdrop. Yes and sold in the New Year, the middle and right boot do, in truth, have heels spliced to them, merely the heels dangle in the wind HIGH above the pronounced platform. Apparently, these joined some extreme height to the models. Are you ready for this…these made the ELEVEN inches taller. Almost a whole foot. Yeesh. Sounds like a tall anecdote (ouch ugg clearance show! wrong joke) This trend is getting ridiculous. Apparently, the platforms in shoes like this are very heavily weighted toward the toe, the fancy being that this will discourage you from falling behind. I conceive there is some credibility to this for not model fell at the Nina Ricci show. There have been quite a few tumbles this season, most notably at Brian Reyes in New York where the models wore peerless normal ugg clearance, heeled shoes but 5 of them fell. 5! And they literally fell out of their shoes.
Here is a photo from fashionologie.com showing a prototype carrying the shoes in question:
They don’t look precarious at all. And but, they toppled 5 pro-walkers. The shoes wreaked so many destruction that the models ALL went barefoot during the finale. I calculate this was to prevent the potential domino effect that could have been wrought at the fiendish footwear in the finale.

I suspect that just proves the credo namely it’s the innocent-looking ones that’ll get you in the end.
